Got Talent? NBC wants you to show it off! America’s Got Talent has begun their search for the new season and they are scouring America to find unique talents to appear on the show. The auditions are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers across the country to showcase their talent to the series’ producers in hopes of being able to take the stage in front of the AGT judges. They don’t care if you have an act you do professionally, or it’s something you have never done in public before in your life. They enjoy all talent, whether you are an amazing singer, or can do something really weird with your body. The show wants to be shocked and amazed by what you can do in 90 seconds!

With the search open to acts of all ages and talents, “America’s Got Talent” has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing unique performers from across the country. The series is a true celebration of creativity and talent, featuring a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying to win America’s hearts and the $1 million prize. Open call auditions will be announced soon, however, online auditions for the new season are open! During the open calls, the casting team will travel around the country to meet you and see your talent. It’s a great fantastic opportunity to meet the producers of the show and let them see your talent in action. If you can’t meet them in person that’s okay too! Simply send in a video audition to be considered.
Application Instructions
Open call cities for Season 12 have not yet been announced, but you can submit a video audition for America’s Got Talent’s 2016/2017 season. Even if you plan to attend the auditions, they still want to see your talent ASAP.
Videos should be no longer than 2-3 minutes in length.
Video audition tip from America’s Got Talent: Also bear in mind that submitted videos DO NOT have to be slick, highly-edited promotional masterpieces. In fact, we would much rather see a straightforward, un-edited performance that shows your personality and talent, even if it’s just you introducing yourself on camera and performing right in your living room or backyard.
